Installation

Our engineers install both wet and electric system underfloor heating. The wet system works with your existing boiler and central heating system while the electric system is wired into the mains and works independently of your central heating system.

Wet system underfloor heating uses a series of pipes that are connected to your boiler and run under the floor. The pipes are fitted with insulation (such as Celotex and screed) that heats up also.

Electric system underfloor heating uses electric coils that are pre-fitted to insulated mats. The coils and the mats heat up when the powers turned on.

Underfloor Heating is highly versatile with solutions for all types of homes of all ages.

The best type for your home will depend on a number of factors such as your existing system, space undergoing installation, fuel type and budget.

Service

Underfloor Heating should be checked annually to ensure everything’s in order. During the checks, we’ll test the pump, ensuring it’s set correctly and powerful enough to distribute water around the underfloor pipes.
We’ll make sure all connections and seals are tight, and we can check if the pipes are getting hot all over with ur thermal imaging camera.

Repairs

We can fix any underfloor heating fault. Most underfloor heating repairs are straightforward as all the working parts are above ground and easy to access. Thermal imaging allows us to identify any faults underground, such as cold spots or leaks.

Why You Should Consider Underfloor Heating

Underfloor Heating is better than traditional radiators for a variety of reasons.

Underfloor pipes are left undisturbed and are not prone to leaking or damage, and should last over 35 years. The system is low maintenance, and if a problem does develop parts are easy to replace.

Conventional radiators heat from a single area (where the radiators mounted on a wall). Underfloor Heating heats the entire surface area, so the rooms heated equally throughout.

The screed or panels used heats also and will stay warm for many hours emitting heat upwards into the room. As such, the system is far more efficient, costing less to run than traditional central heating systems. Less energy is consumed, which is Kinder to the environment and your wallet.

When radiators are removed, wall space is created, which can be used for extra storage/furniture and will make your room look bigger.

Underfloor Heating adds value to your home and is an attractive selling point to buyers and prospective tenants.
