Servicing Underfloor Heating

It’s good practice to have your Underfloor Heating system checked annually to ensure everything in order. One of our engineers can perform a swift service which involves checking the Manifold, Thermostat, Motorised Valves, Pump, Seals and Fittings.

Leaks can spring up where loose fittings are present. All our fittings are checked for tightness to ensure leaks are not an issue. All other components such are tested and adjusted if necessary, so your system performs at the optimal capacity.

If your Underfloor Heating system’s over five years old, then you may want to consider a Powerflush. Overtime Underfloor pipes will naturally fill up with limescale, rust and debris which can prevent correct heating of the pipes.

We’ll attach a power flushing machine to your system and pump a mixture of water and chemicals through the pipes at a gentle pressure.
Gradually all unwanted particles are removed. Once your systems clear an inhibitor’s added to prevent any further build-ups. Your system will now run at full capacity with the optimal heat output and energy efficiency.

Underground issues are infrequent and unusual, but if there is a problem we’ll quickly identify it with a thermal imaging camera. The location of broken pipes and leaks is quickly established we can then formulate a plan to repair the broken pipe and any damage that may have occurred as a result.
