What Building A New Bathroom Involves

Building a new bathroom is a step-by-step process where every element, from plumbing and heating to flooring, walls, and lighting, is carefully planned and installed to create a functional and stylish space.

Existing Plumbing & Wiring

Your existing Plumbing may work with the layout of your new bathroom; otherwise, if you want the suite rearranged, we’ll get the pipework in order first. The same goes for the wiring, switches, shaver sockets and lighting circuits.

Heating

Before we fit the flooring and bathroom suite, the heating’s arranged. You may want a standard radiator or heated towel rail. Underfloor Heating can also be fitted, so you have a lovely warm floor as soon as you step out of the shower.

Flooring

The flooring is hard-wearing and non-slip. You have the choice of Porcelain floor tiles, lino, lino tiles, rubber, concrete and even engineered wood.

Walls

The walls must be waterproof, especially around the bath and in the shower. Tiles are the number one option for bathroom walls. Acrylic wall panels are another possibility. Areas not exposed directly to water can be tiled, panelled, painted and in some cases covered in wood cladding.

Bathroom Suites consist of the bath, basin, and toilet. There are many styles available, some can be incorporated into vanity units.
